Design thinking is a powerful framework for solving BIG problems. VCU students who have learned design thinking methods see immediate ways they can use it in their everyday lives-- both in and out of the classroom. We’re going to teach you all about it and then give you a chance to play interactive games to apply the techniques. You’ll earn a certification that you can add to your resume AND have lots of fun doing it. *Please bring your cell phone to this training Students will: Be introduced to the design thinking process Discuss the importance of intent vs impact in the design process as it relates to the people and communities we design solutions for Have an opportunity to apply new learning in response to a high level opportunity Earn an IDEO certification in design thinking Earn a credly badge in design thinking
