Have you ever thought about how you would change how we interact with our retail spaces? How should the store change now that we make so many purchases online? Come Jam with us 02/05 and dig into this challenge and ideate around how we can change the shopping experience!

The da Vinci Center presents a new design jam all about rethinking retail. Redesigning Retail Spaces will examine issues through the lens of human-centered design and design thinking. This free, one-day event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. This Design Jam also offers the opportunity to earn an “Introduction to Design Thinking” credential via a credly badge that you can post on your LinkedIn.

    How Design Jams Work:
    • 1-day event
    • A single prompt is selected for the entire group

    Students will:
    • Be introduced to the design thinking process
    • Discuss the importance of intent vs impact in the design process as it relates to the people and communities we design solutions for
    • Have an opportunity to apply new learning in response to a high level opportunity
    In-Person Event
This will be a live, in-person event. Please refer to VCU public health measures for all requirements.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
