Thank you for your interest in referring a friend, family member, co-worker, or peer for the VCU Executive MBA (EMBA) program at VCU Business. If the candidate you refer is admitted and enrolls in the fall 2025 cohort, they will receive a one-time $3,000 award disbursed in full their first semester after the fall add/drop date.

To complete your referral as a VCU alumni, please review the details below. You will be asked to enter your information (full name and email), your referral’s information (full name and email), as well as a brief statement as to why you think they would be a good candidate for the EMBA program.

Once you submit your referral, your nominee will be emailed to let them know you are recommending them as a candidate for our Executive MBA. This email will include instructions for them on how to complete their application, if they haven’t already started it.

Important Notes:

• Nominations and awards are only applicable to incoming students in the VCU Executive MBA fall 2025 cohort.
• Students may only receive one $3,000 award, regardless of how many nominations they receive.
• This is a one-time award that will be disbursed to the student’s account if they have a balance or sent as a refund check after the fall add/drop date.
• You are welcome to make multiple nominations, please complete a new form for each new referral.
