Read & Sign Program Expectations
The primary goal of this program is to provide students with a life changing experience and an opportunity to grow academically, personally and professionally. Please review the following program objectives and expectations. Your signature below indicates that you have read, understand, and agree with them.
Students will be ambassadors for the school, community and country. Students must be responsible and treat everyone with respect. It is important to see things from others’ perspectives and be encouraging and kind.
Students are expected to attend all classes via Zoom, project meetings and participate in all the activities during the program. Students must also keep their camera on during the entire time of the class and group project meetings.
ICP is fast-paced and covers extensive materials in a short amount of time. Students must be willing and able to fully immerse in the program.
In addition to class time you will have to dedicate time to the consulting project and work with your team, while navigating a time difference.
This course demands patience, flexibility, good humor and ability to tolerate uncertainty. It will help in learning new cultures, accepting those that might be different from your own, working in groups and handling unexpected situations that may arise with the real-world clients involved in the projects.
Students are encouraged to research in depth the history, culture, and politics of the country the program is collaborating with in addition to the brief cultural training we provide. It will not only help on a personal level, but you will find useful for your consulting project as well.
IMPORTANT - Your signature below indicates that you have read, understand, and agree with the expectations of the Virtual ICP.
