SHRM Learning System® for SHRM-CP™ and SHRM-SCP™ Certification Preparation

This program introduces the SHRM Learning System® and helps learners prepare to pass the SHRM certification exam. The System consists of four learning modules based on the SHRM Body of Applied Skills & Knowledge® (SHRM BASK®), with content broken down into consumable topics to ensure understanding and the ability to apply it on the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam and in everyday practice.

This program offers learners comprehensive and personalized guidance on how to best prepare for the exam, a structured -environment with a live, SHRM-certified instructor, and an interactive learning environment.

SHRM certification is the only competency-based certification available to HR professionals and is a credential sought by many employers when hiring for human resource positions.

Dates: Course runs on Tuesdays starting September 3, 2024 and ending November 24, 2024 (Note: September 10 and October 22 are asynchronous)

Time: 5:45pm - 8:30pm

Location: Online via zoom

Course Fees: $1600 due in full at registration. Cost includes all SHRM materials (textbook mailed to your home) and access to online learning software.

Optional Add-Ons: VCU is able to provide a discounted rate of $270 (full price is $510) for the SHRM Exam voucher. This fee is an optional add-on and is for the December 1, 2024 - February 15, 2025 exam window only. Vouchers must be purchased during registration and will be sent out AFTER the start of class.

Discounts: A 10% discount is available at registration to:

• Anyone who registers 30 days before class starts
• VCU alumni and VCU/VCUHS employees
• State employees of Virginia

*Optional SHRM exam seat is NOT eligible for any discount.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellation with refund is permitted up until SHRM learning materials are shipped: Monday August 26, 2024. Cancellation refunds will not be permitted after August 26, 2024.

Check Policies: Paying by check? All payments must be received by Tuesday, September 3, 2024. If payment has not been received by that date the learner will be removed from the class. Please note, if paying by check and purchasing a SHRM Exam Voucher your voucher purchase does not show up as a separate line-item on the invoice but the voucher purchase cost is reflected in the final invoice total.
