How might we imagine a more sustainable future for ourselves, our community, and our world?
In this hands-on workshop, we invite you to share ideas, explore possibilities, and bring those ideas to life in fun, creative ways through sketches, roleplay, storyboards, LEGO® builds, and more. Together, we’ll explore what sustainability could look like at VCU and beyond.
In just 90 minutes, you’ll warm up with playful activities that spark creative thinking, then dive into a challenge prompt that resonates with you, whether it’s embedding sustainability in campus culture, expanding engagement with local communities, or fostering sustainability-focused partnerships. Along the way, you’ll experiment with turning rough ideas into something you can see, test, and talk about.
Hosted in partnership with VCU Sustainability, this workshop is designed to surface fresh ideas that could help shape future progress toward the One VCU Sustainability Plan goals. Participants will also receive a digital badge in prototyping to showcase their experience on LinkedIn, a resume, or a portfolio.
This free workshop is open to all VCU students, faculty, staff, and community members. No prior experience is needed, only curiosity and creativity!
*This will be a live, in-person event. Please refer to VCU public health measures for all requirements. |
