How can design thinking be used to impact social justice?
Participate in a VCU da Vinci Center Design Jam to examine social justice challenges through the lens of human-centered design and design thinking. This is a free, one-day event and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
How Design Jams Work: - 1-day event
- A single prompt is selected for the entire group
Students will:- Be introduced to the design thinking process
- Discuss the importance of intent vs impact in the design process as it relates to the people and communities we design solutions for
- Have an opportunity to apply new learning in response to a high level opportunity
