    Cathy Doss joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as Chief Data Officer in 2018. In this inaugural role at the Bank, she is responsible for developing data strategies, enabling business outcomes through analytics, and applying information management standards, practices and policies that drive innovation. She is also responsible for helping the Bank align data policy and administration with regulatory, legal and ethical mandates.

    Prior to joining the Fed, Ms. Doss was the Multifamily Business Data Officer at Fannie Mae. She has extensive experience in data, technology and business strategy and served as Chief Client Officer for Equifax and in executive roles in data, marketing, and supply-chain management at Capital One including Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer.

    In 2020, and again in 2021, Ms. Doss was recognized as one of CDO Magazine’s Global Data Power Women.

    Ms. Doss earned a B.S. degree in Information Systems from James Madison University, an Associate degree in Nursing from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, and Executive Leadership certification from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
