Linda T. Hines, RN, MS, MBA
Linda is the Medicaid Plan President for Virginia Premier Health Plan, Inc. which serves approximately 340,000 Medicaid/FAMIS and Dual Special Needs enrollees for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Health Services, COO and CEO for Virginia Premier Health Plan. Ms. Hines has worked in managed care for over 25 years and brings a strong clinical, administrative and management background in the medical and operational arena of managed care. She has been instrumental in developing several best practice care management and operational programs that have national recognition.
Ms. Hines earned her Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and her Master of Science (Nursing Administration) as well as Executive MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is active in a variety of professional activities, including Vice Chair of the Virginia State Board of Health, Executive Board member of the Association of Affiliated Community Health Plans, Board member of the Virginia Center for Health Innovation, Rx Partnership, UNCF Leadership Council member, MegaMentors and founding member of the Oraphine Crump VCU Scholarship program. In addition, Ms. Hines has served as adjunct faculty for the School of Nursing for Virginia Commonwealth University.
